Learning Collaborative in SPARCS
Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress
Starting in the 2016-2017 school year, the Student Support Services department has made available a year-long training opportunity to student support service teams across the district to train and implement this evidence-based group intervention offered by The NC Child Treatment Program and Center for Child & Family Health for ages 12 and up.
This year, Cohort 11 includes the following schools:

Youth and Teen Mental Health First Aid Initiative 23-24
The Department of Student Support Services in Durham Public Schools is participating in this statewide initiative in North Carolina to bring Youth Mental Health First Aid Training to staff and Durham community members and Teen Mental Health First Aid to high school students, grades 10-12.
